Sample job descriptions for health educators working in different practice settings are provided here. Feel free to use these to revise existing job descriptions or create first-time health education positions. All these descriptions address the knowledge and skills you should look for in someone employed as a health educator. The CHES credential ensures that an individual has met national standards in professional preparation, passed a qualifying examination and committed to continuing professional education.
