NCHEC COMPLAINT POLICY
The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) will accept and process complaints from Certified Health Education Specialists (CHES®)/Master Certified Health Education Specialists (MCHES®) and the general public in accordance with the Complaint Policy. NCHEC staff will work with individuals to resolve all complaints. Unresolved complaints following the initial attempt should be forwarded to:

After receiving the complaint, NCHEC shall acknowledge it within five working days.
NCHEC shall notify the complainant in writing of the outcome of the investigation within 30 working days. Extended time may be needed to resolve a complaint, and, if so, the complainant will be notified of the expected resolution date. A complainant who is not satisfied with the response may request reconsideration of the complaint as described below.
UNRESOLVED COMPLAINT:
The complainant may submit a reconsideration request of any decision in writing, stating the grounds for the appeal. The correspondence should be received by NCHEC within 30 days of NCHEC’s letter with details of the initial decision/resolution. It should be addressed to:
