Please join NCHEC's session: Efforts to Ensure a Competent Health Education/Promotion Workforce on Monday, October 31st 2016 from 12:30 - 2:00 pm.
Learning Objectives: Summarize the changes to the CHES and MCHES exam based on the results of the Health Education Specialist Practice Analysis (HESPA). Describe efforts undertaken by NCHEC to strengthen the processes of certification to be aligned with national and international standards for accreditation of certification organizations. Identify strategies used by NCHEC to articulate the value of the certification to statekholders. Describe the crosswalk of verified health education competencies to specific public health education practice settings duties as identified through written submissions of practitioners.
