NCHEC Executive Director Receives 2016 ICE Service Award

Linda Lysoby, MS, MCHES, CAE, Executive Director of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC) received today the Institute for Credentialing Excellence (ICE) 2016 Service Award.  The ICE Service Award is presented to recognize an individual who has displayed exemplary service and commitment to ICE, who has been instrumental in facilitating the achievement of the organization’s goals, and who has demonstrated a history of volunteer service in the association.  The award was presented at ICE’s Annual Business Meeting and Awards Luncheon on Thursday, November 10 at the 2016 ICE Exchange in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

“It has been my extreme pleasure to serve for such a worthwhile organization,” said Lysoby of receiving the distinction, “The ICE commitment to the betterment of the field of credentialing is commendable. I am deeply honored by this recognition.”

With over 24 years of service with non-profit organizations, including professional certification and health care organizations, Ms. Lysoby serves as an advocate to promote the value of ICE to others within the credentialing community, as well as many external audiences.   Receipt of the ICE Service Award is a distinguished recognition that the recipient has demonstrated exemplary service and commitment to ICE mission and goals by volunteer service on committees, through conference presentations, professional development activities, contributing to publications, and former service on the Board of Directors or the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
