National Health Education Week: Recap and Resources

National Health Education Week is focused on increasing national awareness on major public health issues and promoting a better understanding of the role of health education. This year, the week of October 19 - 23, 2020, was jammed packed with events and new resources and highlights from health education specialists who have pivoted skillsets to tackle the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. 

 

Emergency Response Webinar

NCHEC’s marketing committee collaborated with SOPHE on two webinars for NHEW.  The Emergency Management during the COVID-19 pandemic: Stories from the field webinar was held on October 20th which featured five outstanding CHES® and MCHES® from across the country and their work to protect their regions and communities from the devestating effects of COVID-19. Career Settings for Health Education Specialists
