Whitehall, Pa. December 13, 2022 – The National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. (NCHEC) the administrator of the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) and Master Certification Health Education Specialist (MCHES®) examinations announced the results of the 2023 Leadership Election. A total of six individuals will join NCHEC in leadership roles in 2023.
“We are pleased to announce our newly elected board members who will begin serving their five-year team beginning January 2023,” said Linda Lysoby, NCHEC Executive Director. “NCHEC is the result of the vision and volunteer energy of many dedicated health education professionals that help develop the structure that is the current organization.”
The newly elected leaders include re-elected Board of Commissioners at-large member Kathy J. Jinkins, M.ED, MCHES®, Division Board for Profession Preparation and Practice- Leigh Lane, DHA, MCHES®, Division Board for Professional Development- Hannah Herold, MPH, MA, MCHES®, and three Division Board for Certification of Health Education Specialists Directors: Alicia Carranza, MPH, MCHES®, NBC-HWC, CTSS, DrPH©; Krista Mincey, MPH, DrPH, MCHES®, and Gayle Walter, PhD, MPH, MCHES®.
